Genealogist Patty Campbell tells us that Sadie was the founder of the Campbell Reunion, along the Jesse Chisholm Trail, Government Springs, Garfield County, Enid, Oklahoma, near the Cherokee Strip Musuem. In the early years, her children would swim in the pond that was used as a watering hole for the longhorn cattle on the Jesse Chisholm Trail.
